Terms of Service & Academic Integrity

Academic integrity

All submitted work must be original and created by the enrolling student.

  • ·Copying code from tutorials without modification is not acceptable.
  • ·AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) are permitted only if disclosed in the README. Undisclosed AI use is treated as academic dishonesty.
  • ·The Loom explanation video is the primary proof of understanding. A student who cannot explain their own code will be asked to resubmit.
  • ·Plagiarism between students (identical code or Loom scripts) results in disqualification from that task with no refund.
  • ·Students found to have submitted another person's work are permanently removed from the program without refund.

Code of conduct

  • ·Students must maintain respectful communication in Discord at all times.
  • ·No solicitation, spam, or off-topic promotion in any channel.
  • ·Violations result in a warning, then temporary removal, then permanent ban.
  • ·The team reserves the right to remove any student whose behaviour harms the learning environment.

Certificate & score policy

  • ·Scores are final 72 hours after delivery unless a scoring error is reported with specific evidence.
  • ·Certificate tiers: Gold (90+), Silver (75–89), Bronze (60–74), Participation (50–59).
  • ·Students scoring 50–59 receive a Participation certificate and one free resubmission opportunity to attempt a higher tier. Scores below 50 are not eligible for a free resubmission.
  • ·On resubmission, if the updated score reaches a higher tier, a new certificate is issued on the same record — the original certificate URL is updated in place.
  • ·Certificates carry a unique verification URL. Employers can verify authenticity online.
  • ·Students may request one score re-review per course at ₹99 by emailing support with a specific reason.

Data & privacy

  • ·Student data (name, email, college, submissions) is stored securely and never sold or shared with third parties.
  • ·Portfolio projects listed on the Showcase page require explicit consent.
  • ·Students may request deletion of their data at any time by emailing support.
  • ·Payment data is handled entirely by Razorpay. The platform never stores card details.

Letter of recommendation policy

  • ·LORs are offered only to Gold-tier (90+) completers.
  • ·LORs are written by a NotJuzApp team member.
  • ·LOR delivery: 5–7 business days after request and payment.
  • ·LORs cannot falsely claim employment status, company name or duration beyond what the program covers.

NJA Coins & referral programme

  • ·NJA Coins are a non-monetary reward currency issued by the platform. They have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn.
  • ·Coins are earned via the referral programme (200 NJA Coins per successful referral) and through approved refunds processed as credits.
  • ·Referral credits vest only after the referred student's course start date has passed and their enrollment is confirmed as paid.
  • ·NJA Coins expire 12 months from the date of issue. Expired coins are forfeited.
  • ·Coins may be applied to future enrollments up to a maximum of 50% of the total purchase price.
  • ·The platform reserves the right to revoke NJA Coins in cases of abuse (e.g., self-referral, fraudulent enrollment).

Account & ban policy

  • ·Accounts that repeatedly request refunds without completing the program may be reviewed and restricted.
  • ·A ban may be issued automatically after 4 processed refund requests (5 for trusted accounts), net of completed courses.
  • ·Banned accounts are identified by email and payment fingerprint. Attempting to circumvent a ban using a new account may result in permanent exclusion.
  • ·To appeal a ban, contact support@notjuzapp.com with your full name and registered email.
